What is PDX Cru?

We are a network of college students, Cru (pronounced “crew”) staff and volunteers in the Portland area who are passionate for Jesus Christ. We dream of the day when every corner of every campus in the city has a community of people who follow Jesus, and are learning to be more like Him. We believe that each of our hearts desire for authentic relationship is most fully satisfied in relationship with God, who is wholly perfect and who offers us greater love than we can find anywhere else.

To put it simply, our goal is to change the world by taking the Gospel of Jesus                Christ to every corner of the campus and to every corner of the world.

Who is Cru?

Cru (formerly Campus Crusade for Christ) is a worldwide interdenominational Christian ministry that has been around for over 60 years! Cru works with and ministers to people of every age and social status. From the poor and homeless to United Nations Ambassadors to college students the world over, we want every one to know someone who truly follows Jesus.

Mission and Vision

The PDX Cru team is deeply burdened to launch spiritual movements that give every student in Portland a chance to hear about Christ, build them up in their faith and send them into the world to lights for the kingdom of God. Our hearts beat to see God engage the leaders of tomorrow with the reality of his love for them today.
