***Discipleship Groups happen throughout the week across the city and generally gender specific. The time and locations are always in flux so please contact us and we’ll connect you a group that works for you.

If you’re at one of the downtown schools, including Portland State, come check out Downtown Cru on wednesdays. If your at U. of Portland or WSU-Vancouver we can connect you too! If you’re somewhere else and want to see your campus tranformed with the message of Christ connect with us.

We can’t wait to see what the 2011 school year holds for Portland!

We just wrapped up hosting two spring break trips! We had a fantastic time with students and staff from Washington and Montana. They were a huge boost to the ministry at Portland State and PCC-Sylvania specifically as well as scouting out a handful of other campuses. They did a great job sharing their faith and taking steps of faith to engage the city and eating at a lot of food carts. The response from the spring break teams when the week was done was off the charts good.

Looking ahead, we’re praying for our student leaders to solidify as we wrap up the school year. Please pray that leaders continue to emerge that have a heart for reaching their campus with the gospel. We’re praying for between 4-8 leaders at 4 different schools in Portland right now!

In about a month our staff take off to the ends of the earth for their summer project assignment. We are so blessed to be able to see God move beyond the edges of Portland and around the globe.

Imagine 50-70 students walking the sidewalks of Portland campuses seeking to share their faith and launch movements where there are none! Imagine these same student serving the homeless of the city. This is a huge step toward seeing our vision of every student in Portland hearing about Christ.

If you are interested in joining with these students for some or all of the time they are with us please let us know! Also, we potentially could use some volunteers for helping with hosting logistics. If you’re interested please let us know. You can find more information on the tab above!

We do a lot of sweet things with Campus Crusade but our annual winter conference is one of the best. If you are reading this, you probably are deep in the midst of decided about attending the conference, hopefully these details will help answer some questions for you. Two of the biggest hurdles to getting to the conference are….

• The cost. How am I gonna come up with $215?
• The transportation. How am I gonna get to Spokane, WA?

Transportation? We want to help you get to AMPLIFY so we are partnering with SW Bible church in Beaverton to help with transportation. They have some vans and buses that we can all pile into to road trip to Spokane!

YEAH BUT WHAT ABOUT THE $215???

We have that covered as well! If you are willing to send at least 15 letters to friends and family asking them to help you get to the conference by helping you pay for it, no matter how much money is raised from your letters, YOU CAN GO FOR FREE! We really believe in the power of this conference and we really believe there are people out there that want to help you get there. You must follow these simple 10 steps carefully…

1. Download the pre-written letter available here.
2. Make 15 copies of the letter
3. Personalize the letter for each person you are sending one to by writing a little note on it.
4. Sign and stuff the letter in an envelope.
5. Before sealing, stamping and mailing the envelope, include a return envelope with this address on it.

At the conference we will write thank you notes to everyone who gave.
